"Robin & the Woods" is a band founded by Robin Jolivet, french guitar player and composer from Bordeaux, along with Jérôme Masco on sax and compositions. Their music is inspired by 70's progressive rock bands like King Crimson or Pink Floyd and contemporary jazz (EST, Pat Metheny, John Hollenbeck, Donny McCaslin, Kneebody).

Altough the construction of the pieces can be complex and heavily written, the band wants to create a intimistic and deep atmosphere with a large part of improvisation.

"Dark Water Falls" is their first EP, recorded in december 2018 inside the train station of Lamothe-Landerron, a little town in south-west France.
